关键词:Tom’s trick, book reports

Editor's note: Have you always got your nose in a book? If you like reading, this page is for you. We'll tell you about some great books. They come from other countries, but you should be able to find them in a bookstore in your city. Try them out — you'll have fun and learn something, too!

READING good books makes learning English fun. Some of the best books for young readers are in the Penguin Readers Series (企鹅系列读物) from the US. You'll find lots of popular (流行的), classic (经典的) and creative (原创的) stories in the series.

If you have always wanted to read Shakespeare, but you don't think your English is good enough, now you can. The series has seven language levels (层次), from easy to hard. The books in the first level use only the 200 easiest words, so you probably know all of them! We think junior readers should read levels 1 to 3. They use the 1,200 easiest words.
