Animals can help (P3)

Lead-in:

If you saw someone being bullied(欺负)by others, what would you do?

Fast reading:

Detailed reading:

1. What do you know about Duno?

She is a straight-A student, an animal lover, a loving sister, but also one of the victims of bullying. 

2. Why was Duno bullied?

Because she had an accent.

3. How was her little brother bullied?

Some girls called him a coward, a princess, and other names when he was only 9. Some kids in PE put him into a corner and started hitting him in the face with a ball. 

4. How did Duno help those bullied?

She realized that helping animals in need made her feel better, and she decided to put her love of animals together with her desire for stopping bullying by creating a non-profit organization.

Computers are used widely now, but how do you think computers will be used in sports in the future?

They completed a study into the passing strategies of 20 teams in the Spanish football league during the 2013-14 season to give managers a better understanding of the game.

It found that Barcelona and Real Madrid had more than 100 repeated passing patterns, while Atletico Madrid, who won the league that season, had only 31 repeated patterns.

3. What was the conclusion of the study?

Lack of predictable play is why teams succeed in the game.

4. What will be the influence of the findings?

It will help managers better decide how their players should watch out for opponents and what ideas of their own are most likely to work.

3. Why did the author give the soldiers money?

Because he thought the soldiers gave their all for the country, and it was just a little thing that he could do for them.
