4. What’s the relationship between the main character and the evil enemy in the first Star Wars trilogy?
The young farm boy, Luke, is the son of Anakin Skywalker, who is also known as Darth Vader.
5. According to Lawrence Kasdan, why have the movies been so successful?
Because the movies have always been about generations and passing on knowledge and what can be transferred.

No, not everyone does.

1. How is it possible for a car to drive itself?
1) Cars have many features that allow them to take over from drivers in certain situations, such as parking, controlling the speed, and braking.
2) There are many electronic devices.
2. What does a completely self-dependent car mean?
It means that it will not need a driver at any point in its journey.

1. As well as these, there are many electronic devices which, when used together with the car’s features, have changed drivers’ reactions to situations.
when used together with the car’s features 在which引导的定语从句中做状语。
相当于时间状语从句when they are used together with the car’s features.
2. While it may seem like the cars we have at the moment are mostly self-driven, there are different levels of self-driving car.
While 引导的是让步状语从句，意为“尽管，虽然”

英语中强调谓语动词时的结构是：did/do/does +do
如：Jack said he would come and he did come.
smiling through tears：现在分词做伴随状语，修饰said。
2. Not only did I read it, I know where Hannah is.
not only…but also…中的also通常可以省略, 有时甚至连 but also 一并省略掉. 如：
She not only entered the competition, she actually won it! 她不但参加了竞赛—而且居然获胜了!
当该结构连接的是两个句子时，为了强调, 可将not only置于句首, 此时其后的句子通常要用部分倒装的形式. 如：
Not only has she been late three times, she has also done no work. 她不仅仅迟到了3次, 她还没干一点活.
