Xiao Lingtong’s Travels in the Future was written by Ye Yonglie in 1961, but it came out 17 years later. Ye's imaginative and scientifically-sound writing popular among students and many of the ideas in the book are now reality. For example, people can live longer and play chess with a robot. Organ transplants, radios and weather manipulation are all real now.
