2. How many birds fly into glass buildings each year in the US?

3. Why does bird collision attract little attention in China?

4. What responsibility does Liao Shuyue think humans should take?

Hes ______ (创造)a whole new language of painting.

R_______ shows a wide difference in tastes around the country.

参考答案:

1. Nearly 300 birds died after crashing into the World Trade Center towers.

2. Up to one billion.

本题为细节题。由第三段up to one billion birds collide with glass in the US可知每年在美国,多达10亿只鸟类与玻璃相撞,由此可知本题答案为up to one billion

3. Because dead birds are quickly swept up by cleaners or eaten by other animals. Meanwhile, there is a lack of research data about this problem in China.

本题为归纳总结题。题干意在问询为什么鸟类碰撞在中国很少引起关注,由第五段可知两方面原由。

4. We ought to find solutions to the problems we create for animals.

本题为细节题。由最后一段Given that humans are the ones who created the problem, we ought to find the solutions(鉴于是人类造成这个问题的人,我们应该找到解决办法)可知本题答案。
