My name is Selina. I live in London now, but I was born in Sydney, Australia. We moved to England three years ago when my dad got a new job. I didn't want to leave Australia because I had a great life there. I had lots of friends, and we had fun swimming almost every day after school. And the weather was always great. But when we arrived in London, it was still winter. I wanted to do morning exercises like running, but it rained all the time! However, things got better when I started school. All the kids at school were friendly to me. Now I enjoy living here.

David is a 5-year-old boy. He likes staying with other children. He plays with them near a small river every day.
One day, his mother bought him a new coat. It wasn't expensive, but it was nice. David looked very smart in the new coat. "Mom, can I go out and play with my friends? I want them to see my new coat," David asked. "OK. Please keep it clean," said his mother.
At about six o'clock, David came back home for dinner. "Why is your coat so dirty?" asked his mother angrily. "I told you to keep it clean."
"I'm sorry, Mom," said David. "I fell down when I was running after William. And I had no time to take off my new coat when I fell."

Next to the window are many desks where you can study. You mustn’t talk here, and you’re not allowed to bring food or drink. Also, you may see some computers near the reception desk. Don’t worry if you are not sure how to use them. We can help you. And you can use all the CDs we have. By the door we have some English magazines. It’s important for you to read as much English as you can. But don’t take them out of the library. Now you can look around by yourself. Come and ask me if you have any questions.
