#EmergingEnglish 基础教育英语教师发展系列第三、四场网络研讨会报名进行中!(2020.7.28/2020.7.30)
我们将邀请来自中国不同地域不同背景的教育同行,如一线教师或教育管理者,就相关主题分享他们专业知识和见解、在疫情期间教育工作中遇到的挑战、他们的成功经验以及这些经验如何融入并影响未来的教育方式,跟大家共同为英语教学的实验和实践探索新机会。每场网络研讨会将由一位国际嘉宾和两位来自中国的学术专家或国内一线教师组成。 基础教育英语教师发展系列网络研讨会共四场,分别于2020年7月14、16、28、30日举办,其中第三和第四场活动一览表如下:

第三、四场研讨会嘉宾介绍 ![]() 分享主题:Increasing Motivation, Engagement and Collaboration 嘉宾简介: Rachael has taught English to primary and secondary students for over twenty years. She is the author of various ELT books, specializing in both Inclusive Practices and Literature. She regularly writes articles for the ELT press and gives talks and workshops on a variety of ELT topics. She holds an MA TESOL and a is a qualified SENCordinator. Rachael is on a quest to learn how to teach students, mainly teens in the most empowering way possible, to inject courage and audacity into the classroom and advocate self-confidence and self care. She is a member of the IATEFL Inclusive Practices and SEN SIG committee. .
分享主题:Motivating Students’ Learning Through Authentic English Teaching 嘉宾简介: Cheng Xiaotang is currently a Professor of Applied Linguistics at the School of Foreign Languages and Literature of Beijing Normal University. He holds an MA degree in Language Teaching and a PhD degree in Functional Linguistics. He currently teaches and researches discourse analysis, language education, syllabus design, materials development, and teacher education. In past years he has served as a key member of the National English Curriculum Standards Panel commissioned by the Chinese Ministry of Education and has therefore been extensively involved in the undergoing English curriculum reform in China.
分享主题:Engaging Students in Collaborative Activities 嘉宾简介: Zhao Fang is an English teacher from the Chengdu Foreign Language School. She has 20 years’ experience of teaching English to senior high grades. She has studied at the University of Reading, UK and was previously awarded the title of Outstanding Young Teacher in Chengdu. Ms. Zhao has taken part in multiple national, provincial and municipal research projects in the area of ELT.
分享主题:Can Summative Assessment Be Used Formatively? 嘉宾简介: Jonathan Dixon has worked in the assessment sector for the British Council for nearly 4 years. He has been involved in the Chinese ESL industry for around 17 years, working as a teacher, trainer, manager, and assessor. Jonathan holds diplomas in language teaching and academic management, and is currently studying an MA in Language Testing at the University of Lancaster. Jonathan came to China in 2002, after completing his degree studies at the University of Manchester. He first worked for a charity organisation that helped provide English teaching to young children in Jiangxi province, moving to Beijing two years later to work at a variety of public and private institutions, including Beijing University, Beijing Foreign Affairs University, and the Capital University of Economics and Business. Jonathan also spent 9 years at EF Education First, when he worked as a Director of Studies in EF’s largest teaching centre for adults in China. Jonathan joined the British Council in 2016, and in his current role as an Assessment Solutions Consultant, he supports the development of assessment expertise in East Asia by providing on-the-ground professional support, realizing client-focused regional language assessment solutions, and serving as the point of contact for engagement with the global British Council language assessment teams.
分享主题:Task-Based Assessment for Young EFL Learners 嘉宾简介: Gong Yafu is a senior research fellow at the National Institute of Education Sciences of China (NIES) and is currently the President of the National Association of Foreign Language Education (NAFLE), part of the Chinese Society of Education. He also serves as Vice–President of the Children’s Education and Development Association and the China Education Development Strategy Society. Gong Yafu has more than 30 years’ experience as a schoolteacher, textbook writer, teacher trainer and as an ELT researcher in China. His research interests include Task-based Language Teaching, English language assessment, curriculum development and teacher professional development. Gong has devoted significant efforts towards a Multi-Goal Approach for English education in developing key competencies through Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT). He has also previously published numerous articles and books and presented at numerous conferences.
