　　在阅读教学中，教师经常希望为学生提供与课文话题相同或相近的阅读材料，帮助学生激活、补充相关背景知识。为了满足这一需求，减轻教师的备课负担，我们推出了拓展阅读栏目。
　　我们以人教版（高、初中）、外研版（高、初中）和牛津版（初中）教材的单元话题为依据，从以往的《21世纪学生英文报》中精选部分与单元话题密切相关的阅读材料，并按新课标列出的24个话题项目进行分类，提供给广大教师作为备课参考。衷心希望老师们多提宝贵意见！
