Human beings have to either fight against oppression  and poverty, or battle super apes for world domination.
2. What can a good science fiction story do?
A good science fiction story can be very powerful. It can inspire hundreds, thousands, or           / even millions of people to get together to do something that they want to do. And it can not just create interesting ideas and innovations. It can help to shape the future.

Read the passage carefully and find answers to the following questions.
1. What is the article about?
The article is about paper cuts.
2. Why are paper cuts so painful?
It’s partly to do with the pain receptors in hands.
Pain receptors are the nerve fibers that are responsible for sending touch and pain messages to our brains. There are a lot of pain receptors in our hands and fingertips.
3. Why does a paper cut hurt more than a cut from a knife?
(1) This is because a knife is sharp and makes a clean cut, while paper is dull and tears the skin like a saw.
(2) Besides this, paper, made from wood, can also often leave behind particles in the skin. Paper particles can irritate the skin, making it hurt more.
4. How can we reduce the pain from paper cuts?
First, press firmly on the wound for a while.
Then, cover the cut.

3. “She took us to an empty classroom, and then blindfolded all of us after we sat down on the ground. ‘Now, I will be passing around various body parts,’ she said. ‘Do not peek at the organs, or we will eat you.’ I held several life-like organs in my hand one by one.”
