IV. Post Reading

Talk about your favorite thing:

Introduce what the thing is;

Say when and/or where, and how you got it.

Explain why you like it and why it’s special to you.

One possible version:

My favorite thing is a bike from my uncle. After I entered middle school, my uncle gave it to me as a gift.

I fell in love with it at first sight. It looks like a normal bike. But it’s quite special. The frame of the bike can be used as a lock. The design was so good that the lock can’t be broken easily. Wherever I go, I just lock it around a pole or a tree. It’s impossible for a thief to steal it.

Every day, when I ride my bike to school, I get to enjoy the scenery and avoid a traffic jam. It always puts me in a good mood.

The bike comes with me every day. It is so important to me. My uncle’s gift is so special. The thought behind the gift means so much.
