Look through the passage and answer the following questions.
1. What is the main idea of the passage?
Researchers have created a battery out of the skins of portabella mushrooms.
2. What is the future of batteries using mushrooms?
The carbon anodes made from mushrooms could replace graphite anodes. With battery materials like this, future cell phones may see an increase in run time after many uses.

Read the passage again and answer the following questions.
1. What are the benefits of the move to make batteries out of the skins of portabella mushrooms?
The move could not only make battery production cheaper and greener, but also mean that batteries have longer lives in future.
2. What are the disadvantages of old batteries?
Making graphite is not environmentally friendly.
3. Why can we say the mushrooms make good replacements for?
Because they are highly porous, which is a good quality in batteries because it helps them to keep and transfer energy. And because the mushrooms have high amounts of potassium salt in them, which would mean longer battery life.

Read the sentences and pay attention to their structure.

because 引导的原因状语从句中why引导的是介词about的宾语从句。 I buy anything from为everyone的定语,从句中省略关系代词whom。
