More about cricket:
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a cricket field, at the centre of which is a rectangular (长方形的) 22-yard-long (about 20-meter-long) pitch (球场) with a wicket (三柱门, a set of three wooden stumps) at each end.
One team, designated the batting team, attempts to score as many runs as possible, while their opponents field (½ØÇò). Each phase (½×¶Î) of play is called an innings. After either ten batsmen have been dismissed (Í˳¡) or a set number of overs have been completed, the innings ends and the two teams then change roles. The winning team is the one that scores the most runs, including any extras gained, during their one or two innings.
The objective of the game is for a team to score more runs than its opponent. In some forms of cricket, it is also necessary to dismiss the opposition in order to win the match, which would otherwise be drawn (平局).
