Young people are the main driving force for society evolution. They increase social diversity with their unique values and cultures.  Do you know the following British youth subcultures?

Teddy boys in Britain

Teddy boys adopted a look inspired by the artists of the 1950s performing the new music sound – rock’n’roll. As a subculture, teddy boys had a reputation for being troublesome and violent. They usually wore drape jackets (长外套 ), drainpipe trousers (烟管裤), and skinny ties.

The punk subculture in Britain in the1970s

The punk subculture is centered on a loud, aggressive genre of rock music called punk rock. It is usually played by small bands consisting of a vocalist, one or two electric guitarists, an electric bassist, and a drummer. It is largely characterized by anti-establishment views and the promotion of individual freedom.

People who have never traveled alone often describe their first solo trip as an almost religious experience. To take in new surroundings unfiltered by the prejudices, tastes or preferences of a traveling companion can be exciting. Traveling alone gives you the chance to indulge yourself fully. f course, single travel has its problems too, such as safety concerns, loneliness and even having to pay a “single supplement”. But a little preparation and common sense can save you money and get you through the rough spots.
