1. What do you know about the movie introduced in the article?
 

2. What makes the small restaurant in the movie special?
Its delicious food aside, what makes this eatery special is that it’s a place of sanctuary  and togetherness.

3. When and why do the customers go to the small restaurant?
The customers go to the small restaurant at midnight, when worries, loneliness, and sadness creep up on them.
They go there to seek the simple comforts of food and drink, and more importantly, a warm place where people can keep each other company, talk, and share their stories. 

4. Can you explain the moral conveyed in the movie by reading the last three paragraphs?
Despite facing different kinds of disappointment, people need to find their own satisfaction in their seemingly messy lives.

What is Scotland’s most famous tourist attraction?
Why?
Loch Ness. Because tourists want to see the Loch Ness Monster.

Read the passage quickly and answer the question.
What does the title “Don’t take Scotland’s ‘monster’ seriously” mean?
Since there is no real evidence to prove that this creature really exists,  people don’t  consider the monster as a fearsome animal. They just have fun with the story and enjoy the ride.

1. Why does the author mention the local woman Aldie Mackay?
Because she spotted the monster in the waters of Loch Ness and it was her account that brought the legend of the so-called Loch Ness Monster into the public eye.

According to Scotland’s official tourism website, there have been over 1,000 eyewitness accounts and lots of unexplained evidence, leaving scientists baffled.
