1. How much do you know about Cate Blanchett?
Cate Blanchett, born on 14 May in 1969, is an Australian actress and theatre director. Blanchett came to international attention for her role as Elizabeth I of England in Elizabeth (1998), for which she won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress, the Golden Globe Award, and earned her first Academy Award for Best Actress nomination. 
She is additionally the only Australian to win two acting Oscars. A seven-time Oscar nominee, she has also received nominations for Notes on a Scandal (2006), Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007), I'm Not There (2007), and Carol (2015).

The passage mainly explains what makes Cate Blanchett unique.

1. Why is Cate called the “queen of acting” by The Independent?
Because she is adventurous and manages to “become” the roles she plays.

Her mother. Her mother worked hard to provide her kids with a good education after their father died. She could see the hurdles that her mother had to get over.
 
3. What makes Cate unique among Hollywood actresses?
On one hand, she always takes on adventurous roles; on the other hand, she views aging and beauty differently than other actresses.
 
4. What can you infer from what Cate says in the last paragraph?
We should work with what we have and try our best to live life to the fullest.
