They found that when the people in their study consumed too much sugar, they felt more tired and responded more slowly in the first hour after eating the sugar. After that time they felt even worse afterwards.
Should we say “no” to sweet foods?
Not necessarily.
It is beneficial if we take in a proper amount of sugar from natural fruits, vegetables and milk.
