分析：It is + adj. to do sth. 句子是主系表结构。It 作形式主语，动词不定式作真正的主语。when引导时间状语从句，that引导定语从句，先行词是people。
翻译：她告诉卫报：“当我们通过手指敲字的方式给数以百计的人留下印象时，我们很容易忘记了真实联系的重要性。”
