Activity 1 Lead-in

Do you know of any assistive devices that help those who have a disability?

Mobility aids, such as wheelchairs, scooters (踏板车), walkers, canes, crutches (叉状架), prosthetic (假体的) devices, and orthotic (矫正的) devices;

Hearing aids to help people hear or hear more clearly;

Computer software and hardware, such as voice recognition programs, screen readers, and screen enlargement applications, help people with mobility and sensory impairments use computers and mobile devices.

A smart wearable device made of graphene was produced to help people with speaking impairments to speak normally.
