Several museums can be found within minutes of the Louvre:
The Louvre palace is home to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, in the Hall Rohan. Access is available via No 107 rue de Rivoli. This building is home to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the Musée de la Mode et du Textile (fashion and textiles), and France’s national museum of advertising.
The Jeu de Paume, in the Tuileries Gardens, rue de Rivoli side: galleries dedicated to photography from the 19th century to the present.
The Orangerie Museum, in the Tuileries Gardens, Seine side, is home to Claude Monet’s stunning monumental Waterlilies canvases, together with a collection of 19th and 20th century paintings guaranteed to whet your appetite for visual art.
Cross the Seine via the Solférino footbridge to the Musée d’Orsay. A high temple of Impressionism, the Musée d’Orsay boasts an exceptional collection, with work dating from 1848 to 1914.
The Musée Delacroix is accessible with your Louvre museum ticket on the same day. Exit the Louvre through the Cour Carrée and turn right towards the Pont des Arts.
Cross the Seine and head for the Place Fürstenberg, a charming, secluded haven in the heart of the Quartier Saint-Germain. The painter Eugène Delacroix lived in this studio and apartment from 1857 to his death in 1863.

Continue your walk along the Seine for more great things to see and do:
Batobus (Boat-Bus)
Jump on and off this boat which stops at all the major riverside monuments. Get the Batobus from Quai du Louvre.

Monuments accessible by foot along the Seine, by boat or by bus:
The Notre Dame cathedral, built between 1163 and 1250 at the heart of the Île de la Cité.
