【Listening Cafe】BCBA
听力原文:Street hawkers are very common in India. They can be found everywhere. There is hardly any village, town or a city without street hawkers. A hawker is a person who moves from one place to another and sells their goods, by shouting on the streets. The street hawker’s clothes are very ordinary: poor looking shirts and a pair of pyjamas. They work hard throughout the day. They move on the street on their bicycle and sometimes on foot, selling their products without caring about the weather.
A street hawker comes with his basket full of fruit, vegetables, sweets, clothes and other daily things. They know well how to attract a person, which makes them very popular among women and children. Street hawkers are not travelers. They do not travel in search of beauty and knowledge. They keep moving in search of bread. They are walking shops.
