1. A pilot program is one that is used to test an idea before deciding whether to introduce it on a larger scale.
In recent years, organ donation and transplantation have been gaining increasing public support in China, with more than 4.62 million people signing up for organ donation.
2. In China, there is a deeply rooted cultural belief that the body is a sacred gift from one’s parents and should be cherished. Keeping a dead body intact has long been considered the most basic courtesy one can grant the deceased.
