1. It isn’t recognized as scientifically valid.
Reasons:
The test was based on the theories of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung, whose personality “types” were just rough classifications (粗略的分类) of what he observed.
In addition, neither of the test designers was a trained psychologist.
The test is too “black and white”. The results place people into only one of each of the four categories, but people’s personalities are complex.
People’s behavior and traits (特点) also change over time.
