According to Robbins, when people are involved with a popular group, they are more likely to hide aspects of their identity so they can fit in. They may allow others to force them into doing things they don’t want to.

Key: His father shared his excitement.

Key: His father died and the boy went home. But when he came back he persuaded the coach to let him play in the game. He gave an excellent performance.

Show some pictures of fathers and sons and think about the article by Zhu Ziqing. Ask the students what are the characteristics of a father’s love. Brainstorm in preparation for a free talk.
