I.                   Group work
Show some pictures and have a free discussion:
1.      List as many jobs as you can.
2.      What jobs do you want to do in the future? Why?
II.                Fast reading
 Answer the following questions:
 1.What makes people feel happy in their job?
   People are happier when they feel they are doing something worthwhile.
2.Why is an author on the list of the top ten happiest jobs even though their pay is “ridiculously low or non-existent”?
 Because they can enjoy autonomy and being able to write down the contents of their own mind, which leads to happiness.
III.             Translation:
1.Being able to express oneself is also important to help people feel satisfied.
能够表达自己的想法也是人们对工作感到满意的重要一点。
 Eg:读英文杂志对人们学英文很有用。
   Reading English magazines is very useful for helping people to learn English.
2.These jobs form a sharp contrast with the top ten hated jobs”.

3.      It doesn’t matter whether your dream job is on either one of the two lists.
    你梦想的工作在不在名单之列并不重要。
Eg: 你想要什么才是最重要的。
What matters is what you really want.
4.      Its no wonder that the people with the most worthwhile jobs are happiest of all.
   难怪那些做着最值得做的工作的人感到最快乐。
Eg: 他既聪明又努力,难怪会是班上最出色的。
He is intelligent as well as hardworking. It’s no wonder that he is the top student in his class.
