It was an introduction to the UN’s HeForShe campaign, a campaign which invites men to fight for equality between men and women.

She was worried that most of her audience might wrongly connect feminism with “man-hating”.

She explained that gender inequality isn’t just a “women’s issue”. She said that men are sometimes “imprisoned” by gender stereotypes. She said they suffer from mental illness but are unable to ask for help for fear it makes them look less ‘macho’.

They bite their nails not because they’re too long, but because they are driving, reading, feeling stressed out, or just have nothing else to do.
2. In which aspect is biting nails different from other OCD behaviors?
In OCD, the behavior is really unwanted. People with OCD don’t want to wash their hands over and over again. They just fear that if they don’t do something, something else that’s bad will happen to them. But nail biters enjoy it.
3. How can we stop the bad habit of biting our nails?
Finding another way to relieve stress could be useful, such as playing with a pen instead. Besides that, we should always keep our nails in good shape, as nail biters feel the urge to bite if they find a small imperfect part of the nail.
