The answers may vary. This article will give you the peculiar reason why some people consider this question.
Watch this video about the introduction of a new technology. Can you tell the differences among the different faces of the experts/scientists?
II. While-reading
Go through the whole passage quickly, then see if you can generalize its main idea. 
The results showed that people were more interested in learning about the work of scientists they considered to be physically attractive, which may bias public attitudes and government actions regarding scientific issues.
Read the whole passage once again, and try to answer the questions below.
1. What do people feel toward attractive scientists?
According to a study carried out by researchers at Cambridge and Essex universities in the UK, people are more likely to find an attractive scientist interesting, but tend to consider them less able than their average-looking colleagues. 
2. What were the first group of volunteers asked to do?
More than 300 photos of scientists from UK and US universities were showed to the group of volunteers, who were then asked them to rate the photos on qualities like intelligence and attractiveness. 
3. What were the two other groups asked to do?
Two other groups of volunteers were asked how interested they would be in learning more about each scientist’s research. They were also asked to evaluate how much the person looked like they would conduct accurate and important research.
