The World Cup is an international football competition for national men’s teams. The event has been held every four years since 1930. Germany won its fourth title at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
    The current format of the competition involves a qualification phase and the World Cup Finals.
    The World Cup is the most widely viewed and followed sporting event in the world, even compared to the Olympic Games.
