I. 1. Because when we move our head during a spin, our eyes move in the opposite direction but reach their limit before our head completes a full 360-degree turn. When our head rotation triggers this automatic, repetitive eye movement, we get dizzy.

2. They train their eyes to use an opposing motion to avoid dizziness as much as possible. Because of the constant training from an early age, they can get more adapted to the constant spinning.

3. In order to avoid dizziness, many figure skaters will maintain a steady speed and include a dance move at the end of a long spin, designed to provide a breather while the dizziness passes.
